I enjoy showing people how to do things. It;s something I’ve done for most of my working life.
I’ve taught people how to drive their 4WD off road. Run courses on highly technical subjects such as computer network engineering. I’ve taught people how to use Microsoft Word.
Now, I pass on the skills I have developed and the knowledge I have gained during my time as a photographer.
You get my full attention because my courses are about you.
Not everyone learns the same way. Most people learn better when there's someone there to ask questions and to show me exactly what to do and, if needed, explain things in different way.
You can choose the topics you want me to cover in any of my courses. Or you can just stick with the standard topic list.
All my courses are guaranteed to run because there are no minimum numbers.
Every course includes a comprehensive set of notes with additional exercises you can do after the course.
I don't put a time limit on you asking questions after the course because I want to support you in your photographic journey.
You get 12 months access to an exclusive community of like-minded people who are also on a journey of learning. This is normally $89.995 per year.
I really like taking photos of nature which when I was told I was going to Queens Park and Laurel Bank Park, I was excited. But when I was told I was going into the city, I was nervous because I don't like taking photos of people or anything to do with structures and things. When the day came, I actually really enjoyed it and I've started taking photos of people and objects! I've also started to take my camera everywhere now and started to look at things more differently. And I also found out things that I didn't know I could do 🙂 I really think the course was worth it.
Happy to recommend Shane. He was so accommodating for my teenaged niece who was taking her first steps in learning about photography. She finished her course full of confidence and inspiration.
Shane was a great teacher. He was very patient and helpful, even when I felt a bit overwhelmed. He was willing to tailor a one-on-one course to me and my business which was a huge asset. I very much enjoyed my photography course and would highly recommend Shane to others.
It was really good course to get me started. I feel that my photography has improved dramatically since taking the course. The amount of content delivered was just right and I really enjoyed the day.
Photoshop can have a steep learning curve and many people struggle to make effective use of this tool. Learn only what you want to learn by choosing the topic you need. Want to learn more? Just book more time.
Lightroom can be an expensive investment for some people. Adobe Bridge is a free alternative. During this 1/2 day (3 hour) session, I show you how you can use Adobe Bridge to bring out the best in your photographs.
